WPAOG Report of Gifts 2019

Dear Graduates & Friends, Thank you for making 2019 such an impactful year, during our celebration of amonumental milestone: 150 years of the West Point Association of Graduates! Whether you are a parent showing support for your cadet’s 47-month experience, an Old Grad, or a friend of the Academy—your commitment toWest Point continues to strengthen the Margin of Excellence and the Long Gray Line. This year’s Annual Report of Gifts reflects the generosity of 25,415 individuals, organizations, and classes who contributed $48.3 million in cash for the Academy and WPAOG. Again in 2019, our alumni participation rate continued to grow and reached 37%, our highest level yet. The annual All Academy Challenge, a friendly contest between graduates of five service academies for the highest alumni giving rate, is one way we’ve encouraged participation. Thanks to your support, year-over-year since the first Challenge, the number of our graduates participating has grown exponentially. We finished the 2019 Challenge with 9,680 alumni donors and gifts totaling $1.5 million. Thank you again for your support, whether through unrestricted annual fund gifts such as the Superintendent’s Annual Fund, Parents Fund, Long Gray Line Fund, or Army A Club, or through gifts to specific academic departments, facilities, cadet clubs, or teams, you help enhance the experience for the entire Corps of Cadets and further the mission of the Academy. Serving West Point and the Long Gray Line, Kristin E.
